SACRAMENTO, Calif.— Western States Petroleum Association President Catherine Reheis-Boyd issued the following statement regarding the U.S. rejoining the Paris Agreement.

“There is no more important challenge for us to address together than climate change, and our members are urgently engaged across the globe in innovating towards and investing in real solutions that will bring us all a better future.  We support the aspirational goals of the Paris Agreement and the cooperation among nations the accord drives.  President Biden’s act to rejoin the Paris Agreement is a step towards more inclusive problem solving and an act of optimism demonstrating that our toughest challenges and greatest successes will be accomplished by working together.”
