Tiffany Roberts serves as WSPA’s Vice President, Regulatory Affairs where she leads the organization’s regulatory team in engagement with members and regulatory agencies across WSPA’s five western states.
Named to Energy & Environment News’ 2017 List of 5 Key People in Climate Policy, Roberts has spent the past 15 years helping shape and inform energy and climate policy in the western US.
Prior to joining the WSPA team in 2015 as Director, Regulatory & Legislative Policy, Roberts held positions with the California Legislature including serving as Senior Energy and Climate Policy & Fiscal Analyst with the Legislative Analyst’s Office (LAO) and as consultant to the Senate Republican Caucus for the Senate’s Committee on Environmental Quality.
Her passion for promoting diversity across the energy sector inspired her to found California Women in Energy, an organization that promotes leadership and career development for women in all sectors of the energy industry. Her view on the role that affordable energy plays in society is informed by significant experience living and working abroad, including volunteer work in sub-Saharan Africa and two years serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in the former Soviet Republic of Turkmenistan.
Roberts holds a Master’s in Economics from California State University, Hayward and a Bachelor’s in International Studies with minors in French and Spanish. She and her husband and family call Sacramento home and are avid Kings fans.
