Kevin Slagle is the Vice President, Strategic Communications for WSPA; joining the organization in February 2017.  In this role, Kevin develops and directs strategic communications activities for the industry’s policy, advocacy, and public education and outreach programs across WSPA’s five western states.

Prior to joining WSPA, Kevin was an executive with several public relations and public affairs firms where he developed an expertise with energy, infrastructure, natural resources and health care programs and policy.  At these agencies, he led teams creating and implementing comprehensive campaigns and outreach programs for some of the most challenging policy issues in the West.

He received his bachelors of arts degree in public relations from Brigham Young University. Kevin has served on a number of civic and youth sports boards, and enjoys spending time outdoors, skiing, fishing, hiking and admiring nature with his family.
