Hanedi Karajeh joined WSPA in November of 2023 and currently serves as Coordinator, Strategic Communications. Hanedi plays a key role in developing a variety of communication tools to help educate state and local government leaders, media, the general public and other key stakeholders across the West. With an eye towards data-driven insights and a heart towards diversity, equity and inclusion issues, Hanedi supports high-impact efforts like the WSPA Associates advocacy program and Latino community outreach efforts with the Levanta Tu Voz program.
Prior to joining WSPA, Hanedi managed marketing campaigns at Runyon Saltzman, specializing in collateral development to support community-based organizations statewide in the healthcare and technology sectors.
Hanedi earned a Bachelors of Art degree from California State University, Sacramento where she studied Communication, with a concentration in media production. Outside of her day-to-day role, Hanedi volunteers with Sacramento marketing organizations including the American Marketing Association of Sacramento Valley and Capitol Creative Alliance. Hanedi has contributed to various efforts and initiatives in her volunteer work including hosting a podcast, event development and promotion and earned media pitching for Capitol Creative Alliance’s annual event Design Week Sac.
